I had this subject when I was in Year 1 polytechnic. It taught us about how a brand develops individually, brand archetypes, personalities and their identity in their respective market, how different brands manage their marketing strategy to attract their target consumers.
For the first assignment, I had individual work and also group work. I had to choose from a list of different brand that was given to our class to write a report and research about. I chose to talk about the loungewear brand 'Olivia Von Halle'.
Next, for assignment 2 I had to create my own brand. I had to create my own brand logo, own brand name, my brand's target consumers and lifestyle, personality, brand concept etc.
Finally, the last assignment is related back to assignment 2, where I had to create a visual campaign introducing my brand into the market.
